Upcoming Events

September 6th Wednesday – Member night focussing on writing a 1 act play

October 3rd Tuesday – Information night for 12 x12’s casting and production

October 11th Wednesday – AGM starts at 7:00pm

November 1st Wednesday – Member night focussing on character development

December 10th & 12th – 12 x12 performances

 Acting Opportunity

One of our members Sindi Renea has written a play “Why They Stay” and has it ready to produce. Sindi is currently holding auditions and is looking for a few actors for roles. The Lead Male role needs a young man 18-30 y.o. and she is also looking for another male to take on a part in this play.

If you are interested in auditioning or seeking more information aboit the play please get in touch and I’ll pass your details on to Sindi

This is a very well written play that I’m looking forward to seeing come to life

 Help Needed:

We are looking for some volunteers to help with the education room we are setting up for 3..2..1..Blast Off. We require at least 1 volunteer for each session to help the kids navigate their way through the room. If you are available or would like more information please contact the secretary

Member & Friends Nights, Play Reading & Script Development Nights

Our next scheduled night is 7:00pm Wednesday September 6th  @ The Potato Shed, Drysdale We will be focussing on the development of writing and preparing a 1 act play. While it may be more focussed around writing we still invite all to come along and get involved as there may be some reading required.

 12 x12’s Play Festival Sunday December 10th & Tuesday December 12th 2023.

Submissions close August 31st

Time is running out to get your play in so if you have something you would like considered please forward it via e-mail

We will once again be running a matinee show for the 12 x12s. We are looking for your contributions for submission to the festival. This is also a great opportunity for people who may be considering acting to get involved and have a small part in a short play. We are always looking for people to become involved so if you are interested, please get in touch. Our script reading and development nights provide an opportunity for you to present your work to date and gain some feedback or insights to assist in your script writing as well as reading parts out loud and getting the feel for character development

 AGM October 11th

Our AGM will be held on October 11th starting at 7:00pm at the Potato shed in Drysdale. We are looking for people to become involved and keep Theatre 3triple2 at the forefront of amateur theatre in the Geelong region. If you are interested in joining our company, please get in touch and we will send you more information. Position descriptions and expectations are available upon request. We welcome new faces and fresh ideas to develop the future of our theatre company

Winter Solstice June 2024

Following on from the successful 2023 show. We are now planning for next year’s event. Submissions for 1 act plays are now open and will close on November 30th 2023. We will consider any genre of play as long as it is original and has not been performed elsewhere prior to us performing in June 2024.

Membership Fees

Membership fees are now due.

This year we have been forced to increase our fees due to rising costs of Insurances and other expenses

Membership is now $20 p.a. due on July 1st each year
