Winter Solstice Play
Submissions Now Open!
We are on the hunt for original one act plays! We need TWO plays, written by local Geelong and Bellarine folks, never before performed, under 45mins long. Any genre, any theme, any style, if you can write it, we want to read it!
To be performed in June during the Winter Solstice, with writers being as involved as they like in the production, or you can simply hand it to us and we will do the rest.
The Winter Solstice One Act Plays is a cosy, mulled wine and full moon affair that we look forward to every year.
Plays can be in any style, any genre, we have staged comedy, drama, noir, murder mystery, period and sci fi in the past, if you can write it, we want to read it!
All submissions will be read aloud by a subcommittee, who will then select by a points system the two plays to be performed. Writers are encouraged to submit as many plays as they like, however only one per writer will be performed.
Deadline for submission is February 20th, so get cracking on those finishing touches!

Hansel & Gretel
Hansel & Gretel are on school holidays and find themselves deep in the woods. They pass the time by looking for adventures and playing games, until they stumble on a tiny home in the middle of the woods.
But this is no ordinary house as it is made from lollies and sweets. Just who lives there? And why are the walls so tasty?
Two Shows daily at 10:30 AM & 1:30 PM.

WINTER SOLSTICE
For over eighteen years Theatre 3Triple2 have presented two original one act plays on the shortest day of the year. This unique event provides an opportunity for new works from local writers to be showcased and celebrate the Winter Solstice.
Not only do audiences get treated to two original plays they also get to experience some warm Open Fires, preshow and interval Live Music, and purchase a glass of the warming and aromatic Mulled Wine.
Come along feel welcomed, warmed and be the first to experience these new works. The titles and the content will be announced in April to ensure the pieces are up-to-date fresh.
